Our Junior Bats provide amazing value for money with guaranteed big edges & light pickups. All Rookie bats across all sizes, feature out typical mid - low swell, with a duckbill toe. We feel this shape is the optimum for UK pitches: ensuring wood low down the blade, and an enhanced pickup from the duckbill toe.
While we don't specify grade in our junior range, the clefts that these bats are made from range between grades 3 and 5. You will find some tight grain with heart wood, and also some cleaner, wider grain that may have some specs appearing across the bat. The aesthetics of the bat do not impact performance - they all perform fantastically well, with a quality punch guaranteed. The bat in the images is a Harrow size. It is to be expected that as the sizes go down, the bat will reduce in the dimensions of edge and spine thickness.
