Whether you've got a favourite bat that you want replicated, or you've decided on a new spec of cricket bat that you want us to make from scratch, we've got you covered. Our custom handmade bats allow you to wield a bat that is as tailored to you as possible.

There's no aspect of the bat that we cannot customise to your needs, as each bat is individually selected, and individually crafted by hand, to suit your needs. The grade of English willow, the weight, the length, handle shape, toe shape, middle position, & more. You can customise your cricket bat from top to bottom, to ensure it matches your requirements out in the middle.

You can select from Grade 1 Plus clefts, down to Grade 3 clefts. We pride ourselves on making beautiful cricket bats, and working exclusively with English Willow from the best willow merchants in the country, ensures that we do.

Custom Bat Builder

We know that cricket bats are not a one-size-fits-all product. Our custom bat builder allows OX29 customers to build their perfect cricket bat, to their exact specification. A choice of only the very top grades of English willow, you can have confidence that we're working with the best materials, guarunteeing you a cricket bat as good as any on the market today.

We loathe to say that our bats are better than any other brand, as this is not case. What we will say, is that we guaruntee to make your bat to your exact specification, using the most suitable cleft from our stock. If you'd like to choose your cleft either in the workshop, or via WhatsApp, then you are very welcome to.

At OX29 Bat Doctor, we believe in 4 key cricket bat characteristics: Overall length, handle length, blade length, & middle position. These 4 characteristics will dictate how your bat feels, and how your bat plays. Changing just one of these characteristics can change the way your bat feels, the way your bat performs, and the way that you play.

  • Classic

    Our classic red and black stickers are the colours that our customers know us by. We love this colour scheme, and we know lots of you do too.

  • Oxford Blue

    We’re an Oxford company, and blue is the colour of Oxford, it’s as simple as that. This beautiful navy blue colourway ties into our location on the map, while giving a smart visual on our bats. 

  • Hawthorn

    The first of our new colour schemes is a nod to Sam’s former mentor and inspiration, the late Gordon Clack. The colours match his famous ‘Tornado’ bats, which of course coincide with the name of his business, Hawthorn Sports. 

  • Minimalist

    Our minimalist colour scheme is here for those of you who enjoy a more classy and elegant look to their cricket bat. Less in your face, with more subtle and minimalistic branding. 

  • Metallic Splashes

    Something slightly different for us. Less traditional and more modern, our colour splashes colourway certainly catches the eye.

  • Night Hawk

    A classy half-and-half design of mat and shiny, our night hawk design is less garish and more traditional!

  • Yellow & Blue

    As requested by our followers on Instagram, this colourway offers something slightly different, where the colours also correspond with a certain local football team.

  • Pink & Chrome

    Because everyone loves pink, right? Males and females alike, our customers have been persistent in requesting a pink deign to match their ever growing demand for pink bat grips.
