If your bat is too heavy, not balanced, or you just want to try something different within the same bat, then this is the correct service for you. We can reduce the weight of your bat should it be too heavy for you, we can reshape the edge profile should it not be satisfactory, and we can rebalance it should the bat be bottom heavy, for example.
Our most common weight reduction request is to remove weight from the toe of the bat. This will enhance the pick up and overall feel of the bat, without substantially reducing the overall weight. That being said, if you have a target weight in mind, then we can hit that target too.
If we feel removing the amount of wood required to hit your target weight will be detrimental to the performance of the bat, we will make you aware and discuss this with you. We can only work with what we have in front of us, therefore if a bat is already on
Add-ons such as toe & shoulder binding may not be carried out, if we feel the bat does not require it, or that it will damage the bat further. In this instance, the cost of add-on will be refunded.
