English willow - Grade 3 - approx 13 grains at the toe with about 2/3 of the face being heartwood (red).
This is a traditional profile, thick toe which is duckbilled, a steady but not huge edge throughout, with a decent spine going into a semi oval handle.
Standard short handle size.
2.6.7 dead on the scales, so around 2.9 when fully dressed
